The Top 7 Focus Areas In Your Business For Faster Growth.

Integrity shows your customers they can rely on you to make the deadline, be there as you said you would and get them the results you promised. Integrity separates the average from the elite in the business.

Put yourself out of a job in your own business by documenting your process. While this takes time, having a systemized business can dramatically affect the value of Goodwill in your business. Documented systems give guidelines to the new and existing team to enable the delivery of uniform products and services. Systems lead to repetition which leads to speed and greater productivity. Without systems, high-level staff may find it more difficult to delegate quickly.

There’s no quick overnight success story without a degree of hard work, long hours, and learning lessons along the way. Failure...

Finance essentials for parents

Fathers and mothers in paid employment report using very different working arrangements to care for children.

Research shows almost 60% of fathers do not use any flexible working arrangements to help care for children compared to one-quarter of mothers. More than 40% of mothers work part-time, compared to only 4–5% of fathers.

The most common arrangement for both parents is flexible working hours. The next most often reported working arrangement is working from home.[source: ]

Small business tips for virtual assistants

Tell me, ladies, do you want to become a virtual assistant or a virtual bookkeeper from home,

so you can start your own bookkeeping business and make money online even if you’re a beginner?

This is the life I’m currently living and I’ve had the same group of clients on average for 10 years. I’m now sharing my secrets on how to start an online bookkeeping business from home so other women out there can still grow their superannuation while caring for children and other family members.

…many of you already know I’m a WFHM who posts a ton about my business, and not infrequently about my epic baking adventures.

Since leaving full-time employment it’s become important to me to inspire and help other women grow their independence. My business classes give back the freedom to mums and isolated women in regional NSW to join in the community and be supported while starting their bookkeeping business. I’ve even supported remote accountants in...

Work inspiration and joyful living to help your business become a success

Today I want to help you let go of the time pressure you may be feeling to get results fast.

OK now let's write down some notes on who you are and how do you show up for your customers.

As an exercise I want you to imagine looking at a photo of you now as 80 years old. You're surrounded by everyone you care about and they can reflect back to you what you have contributed to their happiness.

Write down where you are and how you've made others feel, your friends, family, and customers.  What are they saying you helped them with and what are they grateful towards you for?

Now calculate the number from 80 minus your age.  How many years is this?  This is the time frame you have now to start making this picture happen.

It doesn't have to happen in the next six months or even in the next six years.

There's magic in giving yourself time to listen to how you feel when you're working on a project or working for someone...

How will you face challenges

Think about next time you're faced with a challenge or an issue in your business, how are you going to react and what are you going to do that will help you more rapidly get through that challenge and stop it from happening again?  Is there something you need to learn, master or get help with?  Mentors can be a great source of calm when faced with unexpected hurdles.

Value your creativity

Next, I want you to know that you may be helping others instead of growing your own business because you don't value your own creativity as much as you should and you deserve to really use...

Marketing Strategy for Bookkeepers. Part 1

Marketing Strategy for Bookkeepers. Part 1

Today I’m introducing you to marketing strategies for bookkeepers. Right now I’m enjoying a spoonful of honey in my tea. Thanks Bob and Doris. I’m so grateful for the little bees who created this. Jim bought the honey from a roadside stall last week while traveling for work.

While having a table and chair on the side of the road may generate money for a hobby, having a marketing strategy is essential for business.

But what are the marketing strategies for bookkeepers that work? Over the next few weeks, I’ll be answering these questions live in the Blissful Bookkeepers private Facebook group so you can ask questions along the way and get real results.

But before we talk about marketing strategies for bookkeepers please answer a question for me. If your best friend was struggling with something right now, how would you speak to her? What could you do to make her feel better about...
